San Francisco, California – February 11, 2022. California Civil Rights Law Group, a leading law firm focused on discrimination and workplace harassment litigation in the San Francisco Bay Area, is proud to announce that three attorneys have each received awards from the National Trial Lawyers Association.
“We are humbled to be recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association,” explained Navruz Avloni, a Partner at the Bay Area-based law firm. “More valuable than any award, however, is the satisfaction that we receive as we work hard for each client to defend their rights and actively combat injustices.”
The awards were given at the recent National Trial Lawyers Summit 2022 held in Miami Beach, Florida, and are as follows. First, Lawrence Organ was recognized as the Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer of the year when he secured a $137 million verdict for his client, Owen Diaz, against Tesla for a hostile workplace case. This case was also featured in the New York Times on October 13, 2021 (https://www.nytimes.com/2021/10/04/business/tesla-racism-lawsuit.html) and sets the background for recent lawsuit by the State of California against the carmaker (https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/10/technology/tesla-racial-discrimination-california-suit.html). Second, Partner Navruz Avloni received the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 designation as an attorney, and third, Partner Julianne Stanford received the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 designation as well. Each award builds on the hard work and perseverance that each attorney shows towards their clients, struggling to defend their legal rights and advance their interests to the fullest extent of the law.
FIGHTING AGAINST DISCRIMINATION AND HARASSMENT IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
Here is background on this release. The California Civil Rights Law Group has made a name for itself as a top-rated discrimination, harassment, and employment law firm based in the Bay Area. The law firm has focused extensively on the issues of race discrimination (https://www.civilrightsca.com/race-discrimination/) and sexual harassment (https://www.civilrightsca.com/sexual-harassment/). Even in today’s modern society and even in the “enlightened” Bay Area, employees may face difficult challenges at work when it comes to race discrimination and/or sexual harassment. In this way, it is not surprising that the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by their peers as best-in-class employment attorneys focusing on key issues of race discrimination and sexual harassment.
